The objective of this study was to evaluate the type of perception of the students of the Law course of the Faculty of Social and Applied Sciences of Petrolina, Pernambuco, Brazil, the first half of 2017, the subjects of ethics and corruption, and their implications in social praxis. It is an exploratory and descriptive approach, with the use of questionnaires. The questionnaire was applied in April 2017. To tabulate the data, a likert scale of five points was used, allowing the interviewees' opinions to be known according to the degree of agreement. The level of understanding on each of the proposed themes was observed from the subdivision of the research into two groups of questions, three evaluation levels with ten variables each. The collected data were entered the Survey Monkey program for tabulation and systematization. It was found at the end of the study that law students, for the most part, understand the meaning of corruption, the evils that this practice can cause to society and what are the main behaviors indicative of the practice of corruption; They also understand the meaning and importance of the ethical theme for professional training and the need for further study in the code of ethics of the lawyer.References
