Mexico is a country that embodies in its culture a conception of death with which it coexists and even makes fun of it in a very peculiar way. "Mexicanness" has always linked its victims to the magical abyss of the unknown and thus has carried its Tlatelolco, its Comala, its San Cristobal and its Ayotzinapa, among others. Reordering the events of the Mexican May 68 for this reason is complicated, because in Mexico silence is not broken, but only mystified in different ways. Tlatelolco is the whole in a present where memory dies day by day and where this 2 de Octubre de 1968 survives in dialectic struggle against oblivion.
